Pnina Schwartz, was born and raised in Jerusalem, Israel. She finished high school and nursing school then worked as a registered nurse. She raised 4 children, while her husband Naftaly Schwartz finished optometry school. Thereafter, they opened their own office in the heart of Jerusalem. Pnina resigned and became the office manager.
The Schwartz's moved to the USA in 1991. She passed the National Board of Nursing exam then began to work at Sinai Hospital, as well Digestive Diseases Associates in Baltimore, and lastly at Johns Hopkins. She retired from nursing 6 years ago and is now the office manager for her son Dr. Boaz Schwartz.
